Machine Data
Thanks to WAKU Care’s scalable and secure data interfaces to machines of any kind, you can collect, visualize, and analyze machine data. This data is the foundation for usage-based strategies and anomaly-based triggers and significantly speeds up troubleshooting in cases and work orders.
What data is collected?
Section titled “What data is collected?”| Data type | Description |
|---|---|
| Missions | Represent process steps or entire processes — e.g. transport jobs, production jobs, or robot program runs |
| Errors | Capture errors with title, description, affected component, error code, and more |
| Data points | Values with any unit and time resolution — e.g. speeds, temperatures, throughput, or currents |
When and why to use machine data?
Section titled “When and why to use machine data?”Connecting your machines gives you extensive ways to analyze this data intelligently:
- Usage-based maintenance — Maintenance plans based on actual usage (e.g. service every 1,000 missions). See Usage-Based Strategies and Triggers.
- Anomaly detection — Automatic detection of abnormal conditions that trigger a work order or a case. See Triggers.
- Faster troubleshooting — Access machine data while analyzing failures or during a work order.
Where do I see machine data?
Section titled “Where do I see machine data?”- The main menu has a dedicated “Device Data” section with deployment- and device-wide overviews. With automatic reloading, it also works as a permanent dashboard.
- In each device’s device record.
- In cases and work orders, via their linked devices.
Data integration
Section titled “Data integration”Machine data is delivered to WAKU Care via an MQTT integration. For details, see Data Sources.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- Each workspace has a contractually defined quota for machine data. Additional data packages can be booked if needed.
- Machine data cannot be edited or deleted through the WAKU Care interface.
