Availability
Availability shows the extent to which your devices were ready for operation, calculated from the collected machine data (in particular error durations). You find it in the Device Data area under the Availability tab.
How availability is calculated
Section titled “How availability is calculated”Availability relates a device’s error-related downtime to the period under review. WAKU Care provides several metrics:
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Availability (24h) | Share of time without error-related downtime, relative to 24 hours |
| Parallel availability | Availability across a group of devices, viewed in parallel |
| Serial availability | Availability across a group of devices, viewed serially |
The analysis is done per device tag over a selectable period. This lets you compare, for example, hall areas or lines (see Devices > Tags).
Shifts
Section titled “Shifts”So that availability matches your operation, it is evaluated in combination with your shifts. A shift defines the daily time window (start and end time) during which devices are expected to be available.
Shift times are maintained per deployment in the device data settings. For an overview of deployment settings, see Settings.
In addition to shifts, you can also set a minimum error severity and excluded error titles there to fine-tune the availability calculation.
